Position Description:
Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, positive, and diligent individual that enjoys working within a team coordinating marketing projects, teams, vendors, and franchisee marketing initiatives.  This is an entry level marketing project manager position.
 
Responsibilities
  • Work and communicate directly with the Marketing Manager, Director, and design team to plan, coordinate, and ensure on time delivery of marketing deliverables (quarterly marketing kits, marketing calendars, marketing planners, digital ads, signage, e-news, etc.). 
  • Work with the marketing team to determine the goals of each project and write creative briefs to successfully communicate those goals to design partners.
  • Coordinate with vendors in the production of deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Manage marketing projects and campaigns to keep on schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Schedule and attend marketing calls with franchisees and franchise operations team. Follow up via email or additional phone calls with things they need. 
  • Actively train franchisees in brand wide marketing initiatives and objectives pre and post opening.
  • Manage pre-open marketing requirements for franchisees.
  • Lead monthly new owner training sessions with franchisees in Ann Arbor.
  • Ensure brand integrity, brand image, and messaging is maintained. Drive brand recognition, awareness, and consistency across external communication channels.
  • Assist in analyzing potential marketing partnership opportunities. 
  • Work collaboratively with management, cafes, and event groups to acquire new customers, retain guests, and support the company’s campaigns, processes, & sales goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  • One year or more of working marketing experience.
  • Experience with digital marketing including social media. 
  • The ability to multitask, be forward thinking, and work in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter.
  • The ability to work independently, work on many projects at once, and be able to change focus as needed. 
  • The ability to work well under pressure, take directions, and work well as part of a team.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • High energy level.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office within a PC environment.
  • Intense eye for detail.
  • Exceptional proofreading skills.
  • An interest in the food and hospitality field.
  • Understanding and passion for high quality products.
  • An aesthetic for clean, modern yet classic design that fits with Sweetwaters branding.
  • Experience in successful quality control and maintaining set standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write inspiring, fun, and grammatically correct copy.
  • A sense of humor with an easy going yet driven personality.
  • This is an in-office position.
