Summary:
The Manager, Product & Partnership Marketing serves as the primary day-to-day lead for product marketing, promotional execution, partnership programs, and cross-functional marketing coordination. This role acts as the key liaison between Marketing, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Ecommerce, Retail Operations, and external partners to ensure campaigns, promotions, and product priorities are executed accurately and effectively.
This position is responsible for translating business priorities into customer-facing marketing initiatives, managing key executional elements of promotional campaigns, supporting partnership programs, and ensuring alignment across departments. The role serves as a critical operational partner to Marketing leadership, driving accountability, communication, and execution across the organization.
Essential Functions:
Product Marketing
  • Partner with the Director, Brand Marketing on the execution of product marketing initiatives across all customer-facing channels including broadcast, digital, print, direct mail, and in-store marketing.
  • Project manage key programs and initiatives as assigned by the Director, Brand Marketing
  • Partner with Merchandising and Mattress teams to identify product priorities, promotional opportunities, and featured assortments.
  • Translate product features, benefits, pricing, and selling points into clear direction for Marketing and Creative teams.
  • Educate internal partners on product launches, category updates, materials, and key product differentiators.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent product representation across all marketing channels.
  • Validate pricing, product descriptions, promotional offers, and financing messaging prior to campaign launch.
  • Monitor product performance and sales trends and recommend products for marketing support based on business objectives.

Promotional Planning & Execution
  • Manage day-to-day execution of the marketing promotional calendar.
  • Coordinate promotional planning across Marketing, Merchandising, and Sales teams.
  • Ensure promotional campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to ensure consistent communication of promotional mechanics and offer structures across campaign implementation among various marketing teams.

Partnership & Vendor Program Management
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing liaison for financing partners, including Synchrony.
  • Provide project management of financing promotions, offer updates, and campaign communication.
  • Ensure financing messaging is accurately represented across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Support development and execution of partnership marketing programs, sponsorships, and promotional partnerships.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with external partners and vendors supporting marketing initiatives.

Sales Communication & Retail Support
  • Develop communication around promotional campaigns, product priorities, and marketing initiatives to store leadership and field teams.
  • Ensure store teams receive timely and accurate information related to sales transitions and promotional launches.

Franchise Marketing Support
  • Along with the Director, Brand Marketing serves as a key contact for franchise operators.
  • Communicate marketing campaigns, promotional programs, and creative assets to franchise locations.
  • Support franchise marketing requests and local campaign initiatives.
  • Ensure brand standards, promotional messaging, and product representation are consistently maintained across franchise locations.

Project Management & Cross-Function Collaboration
  • Lead cross-functional marketing projects from planning through execution.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication across departments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, communication processes, and team collaboration.
  • Support Marketing leadership with special projects, reporting, presentations, and strategic initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 5-8+ years of experience in product marketing, retail marketing, category marketing, partnership marketing, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of promotional planning, product merchandising, and campaign execution.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating across multiple business functions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with pricing, promotions, financing programs, and retail marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with retail systems, marketing workflows, and project management tools preferred.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role with work occurring in-office, in retail environments, and at public events as needed.
Physical Demands:
Role may involve extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking, as well as occasional lifting or bending during on-site content creation.
Travel:
This role will require travel as needed.
