What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly organized, execution-oriented Sr Marketing Program Manager to support the Legal & Insurance (L&I) Marketing team at Datavant.

This role serves as a project manager for the L&I Marketing team while taking on additional responsibilities supporting digital communications, including HubSpot email deployments. It is responsible for helping the team operate complex marketing initiatives efficiently across campaigns, events, product launches, content initiatives, email programs, and cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, exceptional organization skills, hands-on familiarity with marketing projects automation, and a deep understanding of how modern B2B marketing teams execute work from planning through delivery.

This role sits as a direct report to the VP Marketing and serves as a key operational partner across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and external vendors. You will help drive timelines, manage workflows, coordinate stakeholders, build and deploy email communications in HubSpot, maintain systems and documentation, and ensure projects move forward clearly and efficiently.

Success in this role requires someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can balance strategic organization with hands-on execution, and enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Project & Campaign Management: Own the operational coordination of marketing campaigns, tradeshows and events, product launches, webinars, content initiatives, and cross-functional programs. Build and manage project timelines, dependencies, milestones, task assignments, and status reporting to ensure initiatives stay aligned to deadlines and business goals.
  • Digital Communications & Email Deployment: Build, configure, test, and deploy email communications in HubSpot, including newsletters, nurture sequences, product announcements, and event communications. Manage email calendars, list segmentation, and scheduling; coordinate copy and creative inputs; and ensure emails are accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time. Support basic reporting on email performance.
  • Workflow & Process Management: Help improve operational workflows and team organization across the marketing function. Maintain project management systems, templates, documentation, and operational standards while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as an operational liaison across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, Design, and external partners. Facilitate communication, follow-ups, stakeholder alignment, approvals, and accountability across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Marketing Operations Support: Assist with day-to-day operational and administrative support for the marketing organization, including reporting, documentation management, meeting preparation, task tracking, and internal communications.
  • Documentation & Organization: Organize and maintain centralized project documentation, campaign assets, timelines, and operational resources across tools such as Asana, Hubspot, Airtable, and Google Drive to ensure teams have clear visibility into work and priorities.
  • Execution & Delivery Support: Help drive projects from intake through completion by proactively tracking deliverables, identifying risks or bottlenecks, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring work moves forward efficiently and on schedule.
  • Team & Organizational Support: Contribute to building scalable operational foundations for the Legal & Insurance marketing organization by helping improve visibility, accountability, collaboration, and execution consistency across campaigns, projects, and events.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 3–6+ years of experience in project management, marketing coordination, marketing operations, campaign operations, event management, or related operational roles.
  • Strong understanding of how B2B marketing campaigns, events, and cross-functional initiatives are planned and executed.
  • Experience managing timelines, dependencies, stakeholders, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying email communications in HubSpot (or a comparable marketing automation platform), including list segmentation, scheduling, and testing.
  • High attention to detail with exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Experience working within project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Airtable, and Google Drive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams professionally and clearly.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to proactively solve problems and keep projects moving.
  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS, healthcare, legal tech, insurance, or enterprise marketing teams is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Project Management, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
