Job Description:

The Services Marketing Professional is primarily responsible for the development and/or delivery of integrated end-customer go-to-market (GTM) programs for multiple services and capabilities. Examples: HPE Complete Care Service, HPE Tech Care Service, HPEManaged Services. This role is focused on outbound (customer-facing) activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines and/or manages execution of services marketing strategies and tactical plans.
  • Develops/manages marketing program budgets.
  • Aligns organizations/processes to achieve program goals.
  • Develops and/or manages delivery of value propositions/messaging for assigned services offerings.
  • Develops and/or executes deliverables that drive external awareness.
  • Manages customer-facing aspects of new service introductions and contributes messaging to new product introductions.
  • Refreshes services messaging and end-of-life (EOL) messages.
  • Measures services marketing effectiveness using closed-loop analysis. Drives continuous improvements to Marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues.
  • Works on problems of moderately complex scope.
  • Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input.
  • Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
  • Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

In this role you will...

  • Perform analysis as required to drive/support services marketing activities such as competitive analysis and synthesis of syndicated and/or primary research.
  • Collaborate with Businesses/Marketing Communications/Delivery/other teams to execute services marketing plans.
  • Track/report program metrics.
  • Assist with key event planning and execution.
  • Develop/communicate closed-loop post-analysis of assigned programs.
  • Create messaging and content for services marketing programs.
  • Perform marketing operations activities as required, e.g., purchase orders and asset publishing.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years marketing experience.
  • Sales and/or channel experience a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
  • Understanding of offering category and company offerings/ strategy.
  • Project and budget management skills.
  • Strong written/oral communications.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
