Engagement Directors are responsible for driving the overall account strategy on behalf of our clients, documenting the solution, and ensuring the final deliverable meets client goals and end user needs. The Engagement Directors are responsible for ensuring a trusted and long-term partnership with our clients. They are responsible for project managing all client deliverables, account growth, setting the overall strategic direction and vision, scrum master activities, and developing solutions that inspire the team and client. Potential candidates should have a strong digital background, familiarity with marketing technology, and a consultative approach for problem-solving.

Responsibilities
  • Primary client contact, providing short and long-term strategic counsel, as well as overall fiscal responsibility for the account, including comprehensive budget tracking and management
  • Manage a marketing program, lead/define marketing strategies, and guide the vision across core marketing technology investments and integrations for clients at an enterprise-roadmap level
  • Effectively manage full project lifecycles, creates and maintain detailed project plans and reports, according to Sagepath’s SDLC process, that communicate tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocations
  • Facilitate client stakeholder working sessions and interviews in order to elicit and document business, non-functional, functional and technical requirements as well as project KPIs
  • Act as Agile Product Owner by leading Agile SCRUM ceremonies, including but not limited to backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and training
  • Act as client relationship manager, serving as point of contact for escalation and ad hoc needs.
  • Provide strategic oversight and support of the technology and systems used within the client’s ecosystem, including recommendations on how systems should be integrated & utilized in support of their business goals
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience leading a wide array of digital B2B and B2C implementations, including: Digital Marketing Platforms, eCommerce, Web Content Management Systems, and Mobile Applications.
  • 10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, or Project Management
  • Working knowledge of requirements, timelines, user flows
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Experience launching 5 or more IT platforms/softwarefor Enterprise Accounts
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in an agency or consulting setting
  • Experience working with Optimizely Platform
