Job description

Job Purpose:
- The Program Assistant works as part of the marketing and development team. The Program Assistant will assist with day-to-day program operations, entering and tracking data, communication with internal and external partners, digital marketing, social media, and event management. The Program Assistant must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects and meet deadlines. This employee is responsible for assisting in all aspects of marketing, fundraising and multimedia design.


Key Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Administrative Operations Manager and team collaborating on marketing and public relations material to determine appropriate visual, textual and design elements
- Clerical work such as typing, filing and answering phones related to marketing/development
- Keeps documentation for marketing and community events in files; attend, record and disseminate minutes of the Foundation Board
- High degree of organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Update and maintain inventory of support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
- The ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance
- Manage relationship with external vendors to ensure high quality and timely execution of marketing programs and ensure competitiveness.
- Any other duties as assigned by Leadership

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of one year of previous employment in an office environment required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in related duties and responsibilities.
- Marketing experience preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
