JOB MISSION:

New Balance is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the North America Marketing Go-to-Market (GTM) team in driving the successful execution of seasonal marketing initiatives. This role plays a critical part in coordinating cross-functional collaboration across the North America Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to bring strategic campaigns and key brand stories to life from seasonal planning through market launch while ensuring alignment with GTM processes and timelines.

You will assist the Go-to-Market Director and Senior Manager in project management for key milestones, operating in three seasons in parallel: Future season planning with cross functional alignment and collaboration, launch preparation (including Regional content creation) and current season plan communication and execution.

This role will help support in team planning sessions, project workflow within Asana, calendarizing meetings with key stakeholders, photography shot list updates, sample coordination and back end content coordination including upload to DAM.

This is a temporary 6-month contract position. The individual in this role will work a hybrid schedule, with three days per week on-site at our headquarters in Brighton, MA (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days per week remotely.

Major Accountabilities

Project Management

  • Support department wide planning sessions
  • Assist with formalized meeting invites and follow ups with cross functional stakeholders to ensure key actions/tasks are completed and have the most up-to-date information
  • Assist in coordination of go-to-market tasks and timelines working with North America Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Sales Operations
  • Assist in adoption of project management system and system template set up

Content Production Assistance:

  • Work with GTM Senior Manager to organize and orchestrate seasonal content productions
  • Assist with updates to shot lists, coordination of samples, preparation and execution of photoshoots
  • Support the post-production process, uploading images to DAM and ensuring teams receive what's needed to support marketing campaigns
  • Support Post-season Content Audits, collecting and organizing feedback & results from key stakeholders to inform future content planning.

Requirements for Success:

  • College graduate with 3-5 years experience in Marketing, Operations, Content Production
  • Experience with excel, powerpoint, outlook, project management system (Asana), digital asset management systems
  • Candidate must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Candidate must be deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidate must have solid oral and written communications skills, including specific writing experience.
  • Candidate must be energetic, have a positive, can-do attitude and experience working in a team environment.
