Job Description

The Coordinator, Production Marketing Operations, NBC Sports is responsible for supporting team operational and production initiatives. The role is solution-oriented, with an innovative focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness of our workflows across the business and cross functional collaboration with other departments.  This role also provides operational support to Creative Project Managers through organizational tasks and  asset management. This position will report into the Director, NBC Sports Marketing Production  

Responsibilities:

  • Support and implement consistent processes and best practices across a variety of marketing disciplines 
  • Become an expert and champion our tools and systems (including but not limited to Slack, Airtable, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Box, Frame.io, Monotype, Stock Footage/Image, etc.) 
  • Drive improvements to production process and simplify complex workflows to enable efficient workstreams  
  • Coordinate creative capabilities presentations with vendors/agencies and the Sports Marketing Content team 
  • Support Director in end-to-end process for awards submissions on behalf of the Content team, including tracking deadlines, gathering writeups and supporting documentation, delivery specs, and final submission  
  • Act as an admin for our stock libraries, monitoring asset downloads through partners like Getty and AP to ensure accurate tracking towards yearly allotment 
  • Assist in maintaining graphics asset storage on the server and in Box in coordination with partnering Media Management teams 
  • Engage with Engineering to source and manage equipment needs for the design team 
  • Review invoices for accuracy, assign appropriate coding, and obtain necessary approvals prior to payment processing 
  • Support Project Management team with administrative duties tied to their campaigns (creating Airtable entries, managing asset approvals between stakeholders, etc. ) 
  • Manage special projects as needed 
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1+ years’ experience in operations, product management, production, or related field   
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, and an ability to use the right method for the task and situation. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, ability to tailor to all levels of an organization 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience working at a broadcast network, streaming service, media agency, or production company 
  • Self-starter who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, and reliable 
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills: verbal, written and interpersonal 
  • Ability to juggle many priorities while at the same time maintaining good attention to detail and a positive, collaborative attitude 
  • Experience working in Airtable or similar system 
  • Strong political acumen, able to tailor style and approach to influence teams and individuals to gain the commitment and performance required to deliver 
  • Highly collaborative, able to build mutually beneficial relationships with delivery teams. 
  • Comfortable with uncertainty, but with the drive to establish order and structure. 

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the Stamford, CT office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and Holidays as needed 
  • Must be willing to travel  
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
