Chief Marketing Officer CMO

We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to join our team! Located in Rapid City, South Dakota, the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills is equipped with 36 inpatient medical rehabilitation beds and 18 long-term acute care beds. As a new cornerstone of specialized care in the region, our hospital uniquely combines two levels of care under one roof. This integrated approach allows us to offer comprehensive care solutions for patients who've suffered a range of debilitating injuries, illnesses, surgeries, and chronic medical conditions. At the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills, we are dedicated to delivering advanced treatments and compassionate care to help our patients recover and regain their independence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing a marketing strategy
  • Supervising the marketing and strategy team
  • Client account management within assigned hospital(s)
  • Building and maintaining inpatient and outpatient referrals and admissions
  • Managing marketing and strategy team, including recruitment, team development, and retention
  • Facilitating business growth by working with clients and business partners
  • Driving prospects, identifying new customers and markets, developing approaches to the market, and proposal preparation

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field required
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing/leadership in a healthcare environment
  • Supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Current, valid, and active driver's license required
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage a team
  • Ability to compute statistics, analyze referral trends, and develop budget/marketing plans
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency for goal achievement and ability to redirect marketing efforts to meet such goals
  • Results-focused, innovative and creative problem-solver with the ability to engage commitment from others
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally); influences and stimulates others to action with directive leadership skills to ensure business results are achieved
  • Ability to project a professional image
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
