The Marketing Manager plans and executes successful inbound and outbound marketing programs to attract prospective buyers and convert them to customers, applying best-in-class tactics for demand generation, brand awareness and funnel optimization. The Marketing Manager will grow and protect the brand, ensuring that brand position, promise and image are consistent and reflected in all decisions and communications.

  • Owns the buying process, personas and plans for driving prospects through to sale.
  • Develops programs for brand awareness, demand generation and funnel optimization, including inbound marketing, public relations, events, and social media.
  • Develops content strategy and manages creation of relevant content for multiple stages of the buying process.
  • Develops nurturing strategy for both new customer acquisition and customer retention.
  • Manages program and campaign effectiveness through operational analysis and measurement. Plans testing strategies to validate message and processes and to optimize performance.
  • Creates launch strategy and tactics, coordinates launch program.
  • Creates messaging in alignment with brand positioning and builds the brand through creative asset creation, utilizing internal or outside design resources.
  • Ensures brand identity and voice in web sites, web products and product user experience.
  • Collaborates with other division marketing teams to identify areas of continuous improvement.
  • Creates budget for marketing programs and provides required reporting.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 8+ years progressive Marketing experience ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect); Prior managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems, database management and other marketing related digital platforms.
  • Marketo or similar MAS expereince preferred.
  • Experience with creative development.
  • Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Office, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) a plus. 
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will come with previous management of large multi-media advertising campaigns and budgets.

Proven communication and influence skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects based on business-critical needs.

Experience writing advertising briefs and working with marketing strategy and agency partners.

Experience developing advertising campaigns (national and local) for media including television, radio, print, out-of-home, digital and mobile.

Strong digital advertising experience including desktop, mobile, social, video and SEM.

Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) a plus.
