A day in the life.
The Marketing & Events Coordinator supports our sales and marketing efforts to nurture and develop engaged leads. The Marketing & Events Coordinator works directly with other members of the local sales operations team and the regional CORE team to ensure all projects adhere to MMA standards and support brand integrity, message consistency and communication efficiency. Major responsibilities will include the coordination of corporate and marketing communications events, including trade shows, seminars, webinars and others; the development and support of the distribution of compelling informational and marketing-focused content and other sales and marketing material.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
EXTERNAL EVENT PLANNING
  • Assists in lifecycle of Webinar and Seminar event including registration set-up, promotion, execution/hosting, registration and attendance reporting, compliance, CE credits, recording, and social media promotion
  • Works directly with event SMEs/presenters to coordinate content, schedules, and other logistics related to events.
  • Provides onsite event coordination and support
  • Supports calendar management of local events
  • Works with local and regional internal communication and social media team members to ensure events are promoted internally through the appropriate platforms and within our designated social media channels in supporting and promoting our culture and brand
  • Coordinate presence and manage sponsorships and exhibit presence with regional support when needed
  • At external tradeshows and events, coordinates booth setup, registrations and staffing
  • Provide support for company executives who schedule external speaking engagements. This may include compiling materials, scheduling practice sessions, and coordinating marketing messaging in social media channels.
  • Establishes and works within defined budgets to achieve goals and desired results
  • Works with Sales Enablement to ensure new leads generated from events are added into the CRM database
  • Coordination as needed with the administrative team for support and internal communication around events

MARKETING CAMPAIGNS
  • Assists in the creation of producer-specific marketing materials such as placemats, and presentations. This involves working closely with individual producers and the Regional Marcomm teams to ensure compliance, brand consistency and effective messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Marcomm team to develop content that upholds the MMA brand across various channels, including the website, social media platforms, and collateral design.
  • Audit and evaluate existing content and design collateral for updates.
  • Creates and delivers marketing email campaigns including newsletters, event invites, and alerts
  • Responsible for technical build and execution of drip campaigns for sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate branded swag for producer prospecting, client events, and association tradeshows
  • Other duties as assigned to successfully complete role

  • 1-3 years' experience project management or event planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Self-starter and service oriented with a collaborative work style and approach
