The Business Development and Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving growth by supporting both lead generation and marketing initiatives for our Healthcare vertical. On the business development side, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing leads into qualified sales opportunities, as well as assisting the sales team with prospect research and outreach strategies. On the marketing side, you will contribute to digital campaign efforts by creating email content and building workflows within HubSpot to support targeted outreach and lead nurturing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to connecting marketing efforts with sales outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop a thorough understanding of GBS products and services (high concentration for our Healthcare vertical) to promote and communicate them to potential buyers (or to the market).
  • Promote GBS Products and Services through all facets of business development, promotions and communications.
  • Phone-based prospecting with a predefined account list to promote products and uncover interested prospects that will flow through the sales process.
  • Generate early-stage demand resulting in an increase of quality leads into the sales pipeline.
  • Participate with Sales Reps to learn the sales process prior to successfully transitioning into a sales role.ย  ย  ย 
  • Utilization of HubSpot for documenting prospecting efforts and tracking client information.
  • Timely completion of all weekly and monthly reports and activities.ย 
  • Must meet minimum assigned business development goals or requirements and provide all requested activity reports to your manager.ย 
  • Participates in sales events (e.g. trade shows, seminars), as required.
  • Create emails and content using HubSpot content management tools
  • Tradeshow research, registration support and management
  • Competitive analysis and documentationย  ย  ย  ย ย 
  • Assist with executing email marketing campaigns within HubSpot, including list segmentation, A/B testing, performance tracking and ongoing optimization.ย  ย  ย  ย ย 
  • Develop and execute social media content aligned with company goals and audience interestsย  ย  ย  ย ย 
  • Support sales team in planning and promoting webinarsย  ย  ย  ย ย 
  • Build and manage landing pages, forms and calls-to-action using HubSpot to support campaign efforts and lead generation.ย  ย  ย  ย 
  • Assist with developing marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and drive engagement through campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or assume additional responsibilities as required.
ย  QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS)
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferredย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย 
  • Previous inbound or outbound sales development experience [1-2 years] preferred
  • A can-do attitude and tenacious spiritย 
  • A go-getter that takes the initiative to make things happen rather than waiting.ย  ย  ย 
  • Coachability: You constantly want to improve and are open to constructive feedback.ย  ย  ย  ย 
  • Experienced in utilizing the PC, Microsoft Office and the internet for presentation, business software, project management, and all forms of communication.ย  ย  ย 
  • Effective verbal/written communication skills. Ability to communicate in a professional manner when dealing with customers, partners, etc.
  • Good organizational skills and follow-throughย  ย  ย ย 
  • Proficiency in HubSpot Marketing Hub and CRM toolsย 
  • Experience with email marketing, segmentation and lead nurturing strategiesย  ย ย 
  • Understanding of inbound marketing principles and customer journey mapping
  • HubSpot certifications (e.g. Inbound Marketing, Email Marketing) are a plusย
