Becker & Company is seeking a dedicated Client Advocacy & Marketing Development Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our visibility and client relationships while driving the nationwide growth of Becker & Company. This position has a core focus on customer engagement/satisfaction through strategic marketing expertise with proactive relationship-building, requiring you to develop targeted campaigns, qualify prospects, and provide data driven insights to leadership supporting our 32-year legacy of delivering exceptional results to the property and casualty insurance industry.


Job responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Client Engagement

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to existing clients through targeted email campaigns (monthly or quarterly) to strengthen relationships and increase engagement
  • Create visually compelling graphics for monthly newsletters featuring real performance data, client spotlights, case studies, and success stories

Lead Development & Qualification

  • Conduct market research and identify high-quality prospects to support firm business development efforts
  • Evaluate and quality leads from multiple sources including conference attendees, referral opportunities, and marketing initiatives
  • Support the sales team in pipeline development and prospect evaluation

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Design and create compelling email campaigns and marketing materials for current clients, prospective clients, and conference attendees
  • Develop campaigns across multiple channels to maximize engagement opportunities and support business development goals
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and build detailed, actionable reports
  • Provide leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm innovative client engagement ideas and strategies
  • Assist with creating presentations, LinkedIn content, and other marketing materials that support business objective


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree: Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, OR professional marketing/business development experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with particular strength in professional writing and design
  • Creative thinking and advanced problem-solving abilities to optimize lead generation and client satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships within a team environment
  • Deadline-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong desire to excel with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Be a self-starter with a strong desire to excel exceptional attention to detail

Preferred qualifications but not required

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent)
  • Analytical skills to interpret campaign metrics and identify optimization opportunities
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with social media management and LinkedIn strategy
