Primary Purpose of Position:
Coordinate and implement office, retail, and community marketing initiatives for assigned properties.
Essential Functions:
Marketing
  • Assist in the planning and execution of promotions and events to increase traffic and engagement for the assigned properties, including office client, community, and visitor engagement
  • Oversee signage program which includes maps, directories, and retail promotional signage, if applicable. Coordinate updates regularly
  • Maintains websites, social media, and mobile app content updates; tracks basic engagement metrics and ensures content accuracy
  • Assist in planning and execution of the assigned properties social media campaigns throughout the year, including content creation, social partnerships, effective data tracking and social media reporting
  • Promote and publicize new amenities and community offerings, informing the general public, office clients, and the hospitality industry
  • Proof composite campaign designs; create a wide range of different marketing materials
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with retailers; coordinate programs and promotions and market services to retailers
  • Participate in the ideation, planning and execution of annual office client appreciation events and promotions
  • Coordinate new office client onboarding/welcome materials and welcome events

Events, Communications & Public Relations
  • Coordinate and execute events, promotions, and campaigns in assigned properties with strong attention to detail; manages vendors, timelines, and on-site delivery
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with customers, retailers and employees to educate them on marketing programs, obtain their participation, and assist them with questions, concerns or problems
  • Assist in creating and maintaining positive relations with office clients and retailers via regular proactive communication, meetings and routine follow-up. Assist in new retailer orientation meetings to review welcome package, move-in requirements, general property information, rules & regulations etc.
  • Assist with prospecting of potential advertisers and sponsors for assigned properties and events, and support fulfillment of sponsor entitlements, advertising commitments, and requests for information
  • Assist with planning and execution of Boston region internal events including BXP University and annual All Associates event

Community Relations
  • Liaise with office clients to support marketing goals around added amenities and activations.

  • Assist in identifying and targeting appropriate community partners for mutually beneficial activations.

General
  • Work with Marketing & Property Management team for development of annual budget. Report on quarterly forecast and variance.
  • Provide support for regional marketing initiatives as assigned.

Region/Building Specific Functions:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in marketing communications, administrative support or property management required with social media and event management experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge of basic web design, graphic design, and desktop publishing programs preferred. (Word Press, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Ability to create timelines, exceed deadlines and juggle many projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Creativity and ability to initiate ideas and develop programs.
  • Flexibility with work schedule as work on nights and weekends is required when marketing events are occurring or are requiring preparation.
  • Experience in providing direction to external designers, printers, and other vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

Physical Requirements:
  • Involves work of a general office nature usually performed sitting such as operation of a computer.

Internal and External Contacts:
  • Regularly interfaces both verbally and in writing, with tenant contacts, with the leasing, construction, development and financial teams as well as external vendors, construction professionals, consultants, and with the general public.

Reporting Structure:
  • This position reports to the Vice President of Regional Marketing
  • This position coordinates with regional property management staff at assigned properties.

Salary Range:
$69,010 - $95,985. BXP offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary and annual discretionary bonus. The range represents expected base salary; compensation will be determined based on role, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
