Activities and Responsibilities
• Identifies, evaluates and develops new business objectives within a specific product line(s) following defined objectives and strategies for profitable sales growth.
• Functions independently as pre-sales project development with Product line and end-user accounts are critical to success in the product line(s).
• Identifies and develops internal and external training programs.
• Develops and nurtures networks within end user accounts, Product Accounts and industry associations with key buying influences.
• Identifies new/enhanced product or service opportunities; often leads an effort to develop and implement the product/service.
• Communicates, in a timely manner, project development activities with local field sales and other appropriate functions through reports and other methods.
• Coordinates the formulation of the business plan for the product line(s).
• Responsible for obtaining pricing and revenue data and providing analysis on the data by collaborating with other internal personnel. Participates in the development of sales forecasts for use in production planning, manufacturing operations and for controlling inventories.
• Analyzes market data, including product specific sales, overall sales volume, demographics, and competitive product releases and pricing strategies for assigned product lines and recommends marketing objectives. Participates in the development and generation of marketing reports as they pertain to the product line.
• Collects and analyzes data on established and prospective customer and on the company's competitors by analyzing sales and loss statistics, advertising and marketing campaigns, products and services offered and current information available.
• Participates in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategies.
• Responsible for obtaining pricing and revenue data and providing analysis on the data by collaborating with other internal personnel. Participates in the development of sales forecasts for use in production planning, manufacturing operations and for controlling inventories.
• Identification of sales activity and inventory management. Coordination and execution of inventory management to support sales activity and business plan achievement.
• Development and execution of strategic deployment action plan.
• Mentoring and development of sales force to optimize results.
• Execute to business plan.
• Monthly business plan forecasting and review.


Education & Experience Requirements
This job requires a preferred bachelor's degree but a minimum of a Technical Diploma or associate's degree in a related field and 2 to 4 years of position-related experience; preferably 4 to 6 years of position-related experience.
