Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Quality Lead Analyst for its Getzville, New York location.
Duties: Issue identification, escalation, and remediation for Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) risk data. Perform data quality analysis by assessing, evaluating and analyzing data, setting controls and guidelines for measurement, evaluation, adoption and communication of Data Quality and its associated risk. Monitor KPIs and metrics for data quality. Define and interpret data quality issues. Lead project and initiative management related to CVA data improvements. Support activities to drive Data Quality measurement, produce Data Quality dashboards and reports, and implement Data Quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve Data Quality. Collaborate with counterparts and build partnerships to monitor and remediate data concerns. Understand data needs for regulatory and internal reporting, navigating various systems and providing in-depth analysis of data quality issues. Supervise financial reconciliation and data quality measurement of CVA data. Utilize Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL/programming to analyze and interpret data. Prepare and present Tableau based reports to senior management on CVA data statistics, quality issues, and escalations. Deliver regular and ad-hoc CVA data deliverables. Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions, and run data consumption demand and requirements. Review quality analysis results and disposition data challenges through Citi's corresponding Data/Issue management process. Lead day to day activities to support data quality resolution, and to optimize metrics reporting process. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Information Technology and Management or related field and 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Management Reporting Senior Analyst, Risk Reporting Analyst, Risk Reporting Officer or related position developing KPIs and metrics for business intelligence reporting at a global financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Data Analysis and Interpretation; Market Risk Management; Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL, Tableau and Python; Ad-hoc reporting for senior management; and Project Management for data analytics initiatives.
