We are seeking a Market Research & Insights Manager (U.S.) to join our Customer and Market Insights team to lead and execute market research initiatives that provide actionable insights into customer needs, perceptions, and experiences. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic business decisions by delivering data-driven recommendations and building a deep understanding of our U.S. customer base.

What You Will Do:
  • Support the design and implementation of market research projects, including quantitative surveys and qualitative studies such as focus groups, usability testing, and in-depth interviews (IDIs). This includes, but is not limited to, supporting customer satisfaction programs in the US.

  • Manage the full research lifecycle, including methodology selection, vendor procurement and management, questionnaire and discussion guide development, analysis, reporting, and presentation of findings.

  • Execute surveys using Qualtrics and collaborate with external research vendors to ensure high-quality data collection and project delivery.

  • Build and manage relationships with clients and partners across the company to enhance business understanding and ensure that the research support is both relevant and practical.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide relevant, actionable research support.

  • Synthesize findings from multiple data sources, including primary and secondary research, to provide meaningful recommendations and respond to ad-hoc business inquiries.

  • Support the continuous improvement of research tools, processes, and best practices while contributing to cross-functional projects requiring customer and market insights expertise.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects where ongoing research support and consultation are required.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field, combined with 4+ years of directly related market research or customer insights experience.

  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, research design, data collection, and analysis techniques.

  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while delivering high-quality results within timelines.

  • Experience using statistical analysis and survey platforms such as SPSS, Qualtrics, or similar research tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify meaningful insights, and communicate recommendations through compelling reports and presentations.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and external vendors.

  • Self-motivated and highly accountable professional with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred:
  • Experience working within a regulated industry or utility environment.

  • Qualtrics Certification or hands-on experience designing and managing surveys using Qualtrics.

  • Post-secondary training or formal education in market research methodologies.

Working Conditions:
  • Typical office environment, with occasional travel (up to 10%).

  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States as required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Salary:
  • Ranges from $80,500 - $110,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
