Job description

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Review and verify markers to ensure accuracy with customer orders.
  2. Ensure timely completion of markers for both commercial and military orders in alignment with the production schedule.
  3. Confirm that markers match the correct model and specifications, including size, quantity, color, fabric width, and working sample.
  4. Use the Accumark system to lay out pieces for optimal marker efficiency.
  5. Prepare mini markers (maps) with all necessary details for the cutting room to execute work orders properly.
  6. Send finalized markers to plotters for printing.
  7. Export cut file data to the Cutting Room for production.
  8. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  9. Adherent to company safety and quality standards at all times.
  10. Keep the work area clean and safe.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to comprehend basic work and safety instructions in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Accumark software.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for this role.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Required Qualifications:

  • Legal Requirement: Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) to comply with federal contracting regulations. Must be a US person as defined by ITAR.
  • Language Proficiency: All candidates must be fluent in English, with the ability to speak, read, and write at a professional level.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting are required.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination are needed to handle documents and individual paper items.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
  • Minimal reaching above and below desk level may be necessary.
  • Requires sufficient strength, coordination, and visual acuity to operate a keyboard and video display terminal for extended durations.
