NEUCO is seeking Mark-out Technicians to join our team! Mark-out Technicians locate existing underground gas facilities, utilizing a wide array of electronic equipment, maps and records, internal/external procedures, and Industry best practices
What You'll Do
  • Perform required tasks to locate existing gas lines
  • Complete all required paperwork
  • Identify problem locates and know how/when to initiate problem locate process
  • Maintain all industry required Operator Qualification tasks
  • Perform other duties as requested by leadership

What You'll Have
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Experience working in the gas utility industry or locting utilities
  • Ability to understand and interpret customer as-builts and schematics in-order to properly mark out all facilities
  • Possess a clear understanding of Dig-Safe laws and regulations
  • Possess a clear understanding of Internal and External (Customer) procedures and protocols

Work Environment
  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
  • All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
  • Work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Legal Stuff
  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
