Your goal will be to drive growth for Casa BACARDI by building strategic partnerships and maximizing revenue across leisure, groups, and events. You will lead business development initiatives, manage key B2B relationships within the tourism industry, identify new commercial opportunities, and collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing to execute strategies that increase visitation and revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE


Strategic Planning and Development
Develop and implement business development strategies targeting both leisure and business customers under the direction and support of the Sales & Marketing Manager, aligning with consumer, groups, and events strategies for the Brand Home.
Assist operations in establishing market pricing strategies to increase individual and group attendance.
Identify and develop new revenue streams, including strategic partnerships, packages, and promotional initiatives that drive incremental visitation and spend.
Maintain and update a centralized database of clients and partners to support business development and sales initiatives.
Lead revenue growth and pricing strategies across ticketing, events, and partnerships to maximize yield and scale the events business.
Stay up to date on tourism industry developments in Puerto Rico to ensure Casa BACARDI remains at the forefront of new opportunities across markets, languages, and demographic segments.
Track and optimize performance across business development initiatives, using data and insights to drive visitation, conversion, and revenue growth.
Stay informed of Bacardi's gifting policies and other applicable guidelines.


Partnership and Relationship Management
Create strong partnerships within the tourism industry locally and internationally, including accommodation providers, airlines, cruise lines, destination management companies (DMCs), and tour operators.
Identify and develop collaboration opportunities with Discover Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico Tourism Company to drive visibility and visitation.
Plan and lead site visits and FAM trips for key partners to showcase the Casa BACARDI experience and drive partnership and revenue opportunities.
Own and grow B2B relationships, driving proactive sales with group travel operators, DMCs, and accommodation providers..
Analyze partner insights and feedback to refine offerings and identify opportunities for growth.
Drive new account development while maintaining accurate and up-to-date partner data to support business growth.
Create and maintain contracts/agreements for Casa BACARDI rates with key operators.
Collaborate with the Reservations department to ensure partner alignment and seamless execution of agreements.
Collaborate with the Bacardi Global Travel Retail Division to maximize cross-promotional opportunities and align on pricing strategies.
Establish a "loyalty" program for tour operators and transportation providers that track, recognizes, and rewards partners driving traffic to Casa BACARDI.
Leverage international partnerships to create opportunities for promoting other Bacardi Brand Homes.

Sales and Revenue Generation
Own event sales strategy and revenue targets, managing and optimizing the sales pipeline to drive conversion and growth.
Lead and oversee the Events function, managing the Events Coordinator and ensuring strong execution, client experience, and revenue growth.
Oversee and guide the Events Coordinator in contract negotiations, concessions, and commercial offerings to maximize revenue and value.
Drive event sales, supporting the Events team in maximizing commercial opportunities and delivering revenue.
Drive visitation and revenue to achieve annual targets, attracting individual guests, groups, and event bookings.
Leverage commercial opportunities to generate revenue, including bar, retail, and e-commerce.
Strategically drive business and revenue through digital communication with the Marketing Team (e.g., website, third-party online presence, social networks, TripAdvisor, PPC, SEO).

Marketing and Promotional Collaboration
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure a fully aligned and integrated approach to overall Sales & Marketing plans, staying in close touch with the marketing function.
Develop and execute promotional partnerships with complementary businesses in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team.
Support the development of partner communications, including a quarterly newsletter sharing updates, initiatives, and offers.
Lead trade show strategy, including planning, execution, and pre- and post-event performance analysis to measure ROI and drive business outcomes.
Develop, support, and maintain a budget for advertising, marketing collateral, and promotional goods, and report expenses to the Finance Manager.
Collaborate with Bacardi's PR team on trade sales and partnerships.

Reporting and Analysis
Ensure accurate and timely sales reporting, continuously reviewing performance to identify trends and opportunities.
Analyze all inquiries, proposals, and opportunities, consulting with the Sales & Marketing Manager for approval.
Own and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including visitation, conversion, revenue, and average spend, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Develop and manage revenue forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to optimize results.
Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to leadership, using data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.


Customer Experience and Product Knowledge
Maintain a strong understanding of Bacardi products and Casa BACARDI, leveraging product knowledge to support partnerships and sales efforts.
Partner with the Operations department to ensure alignment on agreement execution and client expectations.
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in customer experience and hospitality.

Be a team player, willing to assist in other departments as needed.
