Job description

At Code and Theory, we thrive at the intersection of creativity and technology. We build brands through big ideas, bold storytelling, and content that actually moves people. Our teams don't just execute work. They shape it. Through a culture of invention, we turn ambitious concepts into memorable experiences that resonate across every channel.

Production is the engine that drives creative work forward at Code and Theory. Our producers are equal parts creative partner and operational powerhouse: planning, scoping, pricing, challenging, and innovating to bring structure to the chaos so the best work can thrive. They know how to spot a great concept, push it further, and get it out the door on time and on budget - while keeping clients genuinely excited about what they're building together.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with creative, strategy, and technology to help shape work that's compelling, on-brand, and worth talking about
  • Own individual workstreams end-to-end and, with the right support, full projects from the first brief through final delivery
  • Build and maintain timelines, track deliverables, document approvals, and flag issues before they become fires
  • Lead day-to-day client interactions on your projects - meetings, status updates, follow-ups
  • Work fluidly across creative, strategy, technology, and other discipline teams
  • Stay on top of resourcing across your workstreams
  • Surface resourcing gaps before they become problems
  • Track project financials, maintain budget documentation, and flag when a project starts drifting from plan
  • Manage vendor and freelancer relationships on your projects, keeping external partners organized and accountable to the same standard as the internal team
  • Stay curious about what's changing in technology, emerging channels, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Support the producers and team members around you

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 3+ years of experience in production at an agency, production company, or production-adjacent role
  • A genuine love of content, storytelling, and creative ideas
  • A genuine interest in brand and marketing production across campaigns, video, social, and digital
  • A track record of ownership, even in early career
  • Experience running timelines, managing deliverables, and owning outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication including follow up, documentation, and initiative to keep the team informed
  • A client-service mindset
  • A creative or entrepreneurial streak
  • A bias toward action
  • The ability to read a room and ask good questions
  • Humility and a collaborative spirit
