The position requires in-depth knowledge to co-sell with Google, position partner led solutions, and translate technical capabilities into commercial outcomes.

Position Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Sales Ownership

  • Own the technical sale alongside Account Executives — from first discovery call through technical close.
  • Serve as the lead technical advisor to commercial and government customers, driving new logo acquisition, expansion, and upsell.
  • Align solution design to customer business drivers: revenue growth, operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Maintain pipeline visibility through forecasting, KPI tracking, and marketing collaboration as our technical subject matter expert

Google Partner Co-Sell

  • Lead technical execution in Google Cloud and Google Maps Platform co-sell motions — joint customer calls, solution workshops, and partner-led demos.
  • Position Sanborn's services, IP, and managed offerings alongside Google technologies to articulate differentiated partner value.
  • Stay current on Google partner programs, solution playbooks, pricing models, and incentive structures that impact deal strategy.

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions on Google Cloud Platform — compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, data, and analytics.
  • Design commercial solutions using Google Maps Platform APIs — mapping, routing, geocoding, place intelligence, logistics, mobility, and asset tracking.
  • Ensure solutions follow Google best practices while reinforcing Sanborn's partner differentiation.

Demonstrations & Proofs of Concept

  • Build and deliver product demonstrations that connect technical capabilities directly to commercial outcomes.
  • Lead proofs of concept and pilot implementations that validate solutions and accelerate customer decisions.

Proposals, RFPs & Deal Support

  • Author technical content for proposals, SOWs, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Inform pricing with technical assumptions, usage drivers, and architectural considerations.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure feasibility, risk alignment, and clean handoff from pre-sales to implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in customer-facing environments and experience collaborating directly with Google field teams or technology partners.
  • Working knowledge of Google Maps Platform APIs and location-based solution design.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture fundamentals:

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business and commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting commercial ISVs, SaaS providers, or enterprise customers.
  • Familiarity with consumption-based pricing models and usage forecasting (especially for Maps and Cloud APIs).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a partner-led or reseller model strongly preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Google Cloud certifications (Associate or Professional levels).
