MAPEI Caribe se encuentra buscando un "Merchandiser" para el area oeste de Puerto Rico. El "merchandiser" actúa como enlace entre nuestros puntos de venta y MAPEI. Representa a la marca en el punto de venta y controla la apariencia y el suministro del producto en varias tiendas a lo largo de su área geográfica designada.
Tareas y Responsabilidades Esenciales
  • Se dirige diariamente a uno o varios puntos de venta (tiendas) que distribuyen productos MAPEI.
  • Organiza y reabastece los anaqueles/góndolas disponibles en la(s) tienda(s) con productos MAPEI para ofrecer una presentación visual óptima, según se establece en el planograma (diagrama que indica cómo deben ser presentados los productos).
  • Identifica e informa productos dañados u obsoletos/expirados.
  • Inspecciona el inventario en cada una de sus visitas y se asegura que se mantengan los niveles adecuados.
  • Realiza ordenes sugeridas a los Gerentes/Sub-gerentes de las tiendas, cuando los niveles de inventario parezcan bajos.
  • Se asegura de que cada producto de la compañía tenga su etiqueta de precio y, si es necesario, solita la creación de estas.
  • Brinda servicio a los visitantes y clientes de la(s) tienda(s), orientándoles sobre las características de los productos MAPEI, en detalle, y destaca nuevos productos, revisiones, etc.
  • Descarta los residuos generados durante la mano de obra, como plástico, cartón y paletas; y asegura el producto. Se asegura que el área de presentación este impecable al salir del área.
  • Mantiene una buena relación y comunicación con los empleados de las tiendas, en todos los niveles.
  • Asiste en el proceso de reclamaciones de los clientes.
  • Asiste a los representantes de ventas, asistiendo a eventos y exhibiciones de los productos MAPEI, dentro y fuera de las tiendas asignadas.
  • Instala material promocional según sea requerido.
  • Orienta a los empleados de las tiendas para asegurar su confianza en los productos de MAPEI, sus características para fomentar el deseo de recomendar el producto MAPEI a los clientes en cada oportunidad que les surjan.
  • Cumple con todas las regulaciones, políticas, procedimientos de trabajo, reglas e instrucciones de seguridad.
  • Realiza otras tareas según sea necesario.

Conocimientos, Destrezas y Competencias Requeridas
  • Demostrar destrezas proficientes de comunicación oral y escrita.
  • Demostrar destrezas de negociación.
  • Capaz de administrar el tiempo de manera efectiva, trabajar de forma independiente y resolver problemas.
  • Capaz de realizar múltiples tareas simultáneamente.
  • Capaz de persuadir e influir en los clientes con respecto al conocimiento, la presentación y la compra de los productos MAPEI.
  • Capaz de realizar una actividad física considerable que incluye, entre otros, levantar y mover productos
  • (manejo continuo de mercancía) mientras se utilizan prácticas y equipos de seguridad adecuados.

Requerimientos de Equipos y Programas de Computadoras
  • La posición requiere la capacidad básica para trabajar con Microsoft Software de Office Suite que incluye Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint y Outlook.

Educación y Experiencia Requerida
  • Diploma de cuarto año o Formación Educativa General (GED, por sus siglas en inglés).
  • Mínimo de un año de experiencia manteniendo relaciones con clientes o cuentas de clientes (servicio al cliente) y/o ventas al detal, preferiblemente.

Requerimientos Especiales o Licencias
  • Licencia de conducir vigente.
  • Capacidad para levantar hasta 55 libras independientemente y hasta 100 libras con ayuda.
  • Habilidades bilingües (inglés y español), preferiblemente.
