About the Role

Dexter in Hampton, IA is hiring a Regional Flatbed Driver for a route delivering trailer parts and products to our customers. This position offers steady work, well-maintained equipment, and a schedule that gets you home most nights and every weekend.

There may be an occasional overnight during the week, but no long-haul runs. If you’re looking for consistent routes, fair pay, and a company that respects drivers, this is a strong opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Home daily with only 1–2 overnight trips per week
  • Home every weekend and Holidays
  • Competitive pay with a combination of mileage, stop (drop), and hourly pay
  • Modern Freightliner automatic sleeper cab
  • No tarping required – secure loads with straps only
  • Dedicated regional route serving customers in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota
  • Secure, transport, and deliver trailer parts and products on time
  • Record cargo delivered and complete required logs
  • Inspect tractor and trailer before and after each run and report any issues
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or incidents
  • Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations
  • Take required rest breaks and drive safely in varying conditions
  • Dedicated routes — no random dispatching
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in 3 installments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of Commercial CDL driving experience (manual transmission included)
  • Previous flatbed experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
  • Clean driving record (no DUI in past 3 years); cleared DOT drug screening and background check
  • Knowledge of DOT and truck driving regulations
  • Ability to handle long driving days when needed
