Job description

CDL Class B Flatbed Driver (Moffett)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class B Flatbed Driver with Moffett (piggyback forklift) experience to join our team on a temporary assignment lasting approximately 3–4 months. This position is primarily driving, with limited warehouse responsibilities.

Position Breakdown:

  • 90% Driving
  • 10% Warehouse Duties

Responsibilities

  • Safely inspect, maintain, and operate a CDL Class B flatbed truck.
  • Load delivery materials onto the truck and safely unload them at customer locations.
  • Operate a Moffett (piggyback) forklift to load and unload materials.
  • Deliver and pick up merchandise at warehouses, construction sites, and customer locations.
  • Verify orders and ensure accurate deliveries.
  • Complete delivery and pickup paperwork accurately.
  • Read work orders and perform basic math for order verification and inventory handling.
  • Maintain a clean driving record that meets company standards.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class B license.
  • Experience operating a flatbed truck.
  • Experience operating a Moffett (piggyback) forklift.
  • Active DOT Medical Card.
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
  • Ability to lift, load, and unload materials in warehouse and construction site environments.
  • Ability to read work orders and perform basic math calculations.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely load and unload materials from ground level and loading platforms.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
