Position: OTR Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers
Compensation: $20-$25 an hour ( DOE and Availability)
Home Time: Home Weekly
Freight: Generally non-touch freight - bonus if touch is required
CDL: NOT Required

About the Position:

Royca Trucking is hiring dependable and professional OTR Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers based in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Drivers will operate company box trucks on over-the-road routes, transporting freight safely and on schedule. This is a generally non-touch freight position with weekly home time. When routes require overnight stays, hotel accommodations are provided, when freight requires touch bonus is paid.

Drivers can take their assigned company truck home, providing added convenience when starting and ending routes.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company non-CDL box truck on OTR routes
  • Pick up and deliver freight safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Verify shipment accuracy and condition
  • Maintain responsibility for the care and condition of the assigned company truck
  • Perform required vehicle inspections
  • Complete delivery invoices and proof-of-delivery documentation
  • Maintain vehicle and hours-of-service logs as required
  • Follow all applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and company personnel
  • Resolve delivery discrepancies professionally and courteously
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while on customer property
  • Follow company safety procedures, policies, and expense guidelines
  • Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours

Qualifications:

  • CDL is NOT required
  • Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Comfortable with OTR travel and being away from home during the week
  • Able to read, speak, and write English sufficiently to safely perform the position and meet applicable transportation requirements
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Previous box truck, delivery, regional, or OTR driving experience is a plus
  • High school diploma/GED not required
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and professional
  • Felony records considered on a case-by-case basis

Schedule & Travel:

This is an OTR driving position requiring travel throughout the week. Drivers can expect to be home weekly.

Hotel accommodations are provided for required overnight stays, and drivers are permitted to take their assigned company truck home.
