Job description

As an Inside Sales Support Rep, you will provide operational support to the marketing and sales team. The Inside Sales Support Rep will be responsible for assisting the sales team with order entry, processing, price quotations, FRP responses, product training and other related tasks. The Insides Sales Support Rep will hold a crucial part in providing world class customer service while maximizing profit and driving new business opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  1. Deliver timely and high quality oral and written communications with clients, vendors, distributors and Client Managers as it relates to quotes and orders
  2. Central point of contact for Client’s Procurement team
  3. Respond to and complete all incoming quote requests
  4. Respond to all incoming calls from clients regarding product availability, order status, tracking, invoicing
  5. Complete vendor deal registrations as needed
  6. Receive and process all purchase orders as needed
  7. Verify and ensure accuracy of client PO’s against quotes
  8. Respond and complete any RMA requests from Client Managers or Clients
  9. Build relationship with Client Procurement teams to establish day to day business
  10. Track and manage client renewals to ensure no lapse of coverage
  11. Provide backup support to other Inside Sales Support Reps when needed
  12. Perform additional client support duties, as required, that help the company meet and exceed sales goals and objectives
  13. Keeping organized and on top of tasks, follow up, proactive and taking the initiative to promote progress
  14. Ability to bring on new clients via many different tools available for you to utilize
  15. Ability to be client facing and interact with the client in a professional manner

Requirements

  1. Self-motivation, proactive, competitiveness, objection handling, and attention to detail
  2. Proficiency with spreadsheets, intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel
  3. Ability to translate prospect needs and influence their decision-making
  4. Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  5. Adaptable, personable, and goal-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
  6. Ability to build rapport with contacts through phone calls and emails to understand where the prospect is in the buying cycle
  7. Must be able to learn the technology we sell to better support the Client
  8. Ability to learn the business flow and nuances of Clients/organizations, Distributors, Manufactures and internal processes
  9. Basic project management skills (PMP would be a plus) and seeing a project through from start to finish
