Job Description


GENERAL PURPOSE:

Operating at mastery level, independently maintains and repairs mechanical, electrical, robotic and automated equipment in the manufacturing plant. Provides technical support to Manufacturing Technicians, Value Stream Leaders and Engineers in areas such as production, maintenance, safety, testing, and process improvement. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic, robotic and mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulate and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Must be at least 18 years or older

Three or more years relevant training in one or more maintenance trades, specifically mechanical, ย  ย  ย  ย  electrical, hydraulic, PLC controls, robotics and pneumatics.

Knowledge of spreadsheet or database software preferred.

Previous experience training and/or leading others desired.

Experience working for a bedding manufacturer and/or knowledge of sewing equipment a plus.
