CRB Water is seeking a Quality Manager to spearhead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of their Quality Management System (QMS) as part of a strategic ISO 9001:2026 certification and management initiative.
The person in this newly created position will play a key role in establishing the systems, processes, documentation, and operational discipline necessary to support CRB's continued growth across multiple domestic manufacturing facilities.
They will serve as both a quality leader and a continuous-improvement champion, helping to standardize operations, improve process consistency, and drive organizational adoption of quality-system best practices across multiple sites.
This is not simply a quality-system maintenance role. Instead, this is a golden opportunity to build and implement a scalable quality infrastructure to support a dynamic, growing firm.
Key Responsibilities
ISO 9001:2026 IMPLEMENTATION
  • Lead the company's ISO 9001:2026 certification initiative.

  • Develop and standardize policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Ensure consistent application of quality-system requirements across facilities.
  • Maintain records and documentation necessary to support certification and compliance activities.

AUDITING & COMPLIANCE
  • Coordinate and lead internal audit activities.
  • Support external certification and surveillance audits.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
  • Ensure quality-system effectiveness through regular review and assessment.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvement and risk reduction.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Promote process discipline, standardization, and operational excellence.
  • Establish and monitor quality metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Support root-cause investigations and problem-solving activities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional improvement efforts.

ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
  • Serve as an internal advocate for quality and continuous improvement.
  • Build relationships across manufacturing, operations, technical, and laboratory teams.
  • Influence organizational adoption of new systems and procedures.
  • Support training and development related to quality-system requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience working within a certified quality management system.
  • Manufacturing quality experience.
  • Experience developing SOPs, procedures, and controlled documentation.
  • Internal and external audit experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence change without direct authority.

ISO 9001 implementation experience.Willingness to travel 25-40%
Preferred:
  • Experience leading or supporting certification efforts.
  • Multi-site manufacturing experience.
  • Quality-system ownership experience.
  • Lead Auditor training or certification.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Six Sigma training or certification.
  • Continuous Improvement leadership experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
As CRB Water continues to grow through acquisition and expansion, this role will help create greater consistency, standardization, and operational alignment across the organization.
SO.....the ideal candidate is a builder, self-starter and leader of change.
This individual enjoys creating systems, implementing structure, improving processes, and helping organizations become more disciplined and scalable.

  • Drive CRB's ISO 9001:2026 certification effort.
  • Establish sustainable quality-system processes across multiple facilities.
  • Improve SOP development and document-control practices.

This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by developing a scalable quality infrastructure that supports CRB's current and future growth across multiple facilities.
