Support Role - Change Management Coordinator (3-5 years experience)

The role is a critical role within the IT Change Management Organization, responsible for supporting the senior change management manager. This role will assist in the execution of change control processes, ensuring that all IT changes are documented, reviewed, and implemented smoothly The customer engages in 3-month planning and execution cycles and this role will provide change management leadership and oversight during each improvement cycle. Reporting to the Senior Change Control Manager, this role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual eager to grow in IT change management. The Junior Change Coordinator will collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to facilitate low-to-medium complexity changes while adhering to established policies and procedures, as well as providing support to the change manager on major and emergency changes. In addition, this role will create and maintain documentation necessary to support functional changes processes. The role requires at least 3 days onsite in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Process Support: Assist int design, implementation, and enforcement of IT change control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure all changes are properly assessed, approved, and documented.
  • Change Advisory Board (CAB) Participation: Participate and support CAB meetings, ensuring effective decision-making and alignment with business objectives for high-impact changes.
  • Compliance & Audit: Support audit activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support internal/external audits as needed.
  • Documentation & Training: Help maintain comprehensive documentation of change processes and provide training to IT staff and stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption.
