Job Title: Project Manager – EPC Industrial & Solar Facilities

Job Description

This role leads full EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) project delivery for large industrial and solar manufacturing facilities. The Project Manager oversees project execution from design coordination through construction and commissioning, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements. The position requires strong client-facing skills, bilingual English and Mandarin communication, and proven experience managing complex industrial, solar, or advanced manufacturing projects across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end EPC project delivery, including engineering coordination, procurement, construction, and commissioning for industrial and solar manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, ensuring milestones and critical paths are clearly defined and monitored.
  • Manage project budgets and cost control processes, including forecasting, tracking expenditures, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects within approved financial targets.
  • Ensure contract compliance by monitoring contractual obligations, deliverables, and performance standards for all parties involved in the project.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and vendors, including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and resolution of issues to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Oversee change order processes, including evaluation, negotiation, documentation, and integration of changes into project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize impact on safety, schedule, and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including adherence to relevant US codes and permitting requirements.
  • Lead weekly and monthly project reporting to clients, preparing clear progress reports, dashboards, and presentations that summarize schedule, cost, risks, and key decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, construction, and procurement teams to align project objectives, resolve technical issues, and maintain coordinated project execution.
  • Support permitting processes by working with authorities having jurisdiction and ensuring all required approvals and inspections are obtained on schedule.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, recommending process enhancements, and sharing best practices across projects.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 6+ years of EPC, industrial, or manufacturing project management experience, with responsibility for full project lifecycle delivery.
  • Proven experience managing projects in sectors such as solar, semiconductor, battery, cleanroom, or process systems, with a strong preference for these environments.
  • Strong project management and construction management skills, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management and client management, including negotiation, compliance oversight, and relationship building.
  • Familiarity with US codes and permitting processes relevant to industrial and manufacturing facilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, partners, and project teams in both languages.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
