Who You Are
Our PaintShop Division provides state-of-the-art robotic paining solutions to automotive manufacturers worldwide. We are currently looking for a dynamic, Project Manager to join the team who will be responsible for managing Paintshop project execution (planning, engineering, resources, contract, communication, and financial control) from receipt of PO through buy off and close out, while ensuring project KPIs are met, including customer satisfaction.
You will be directly responsible for customer interactions and expectations, while leading cross-functional project teams in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Planning. Interested? Apply today!
How It's Done
  • Manage, direct and lead project team members including but not limited to design engineering, process engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, installation engineering and sub-contractors
  • Responsible for profit, cash flow, on time delivery and quality of supplied equipment
  • Develop schedule, resource plan and procurement plan
  • Forecast project financial performance
  • Manage project changes and protect FANUC from financial risk
  • Ability to deliver customer satisfaction is a key role in this position
  • Ensure clear communication within the FANUC team, suppliers and customers
  • Take action in order to ensure the project plan is followed
  • Cost management and cash flow accuracy for improved project profitability
  • Execution excellence through planning /control of resources (internal and external) for improved Customer satisfaction/ quality
  • Recognizes issues and resolves in a timely manner as they occur in the course of execution
  • Manages Customer expectations and modes of operation to complete contract scope
  • Provide input on quoting/pre sale activity
  • Special assignments associated with PSH related business activity
  • Extensive travel up to 75%
  • Exposure to paint (including 2K isocyanates), sealer materials, as well as paint/sealer application areas

What You Need
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ Experience with Automotive Automation Systems and Subcontractor and installation experience (Paint, BodyShop, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP system
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage project personnel, sub-contractors and support groups
  • Cost estimating/management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project)

  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent relevant field
  • 10+ years paint application and Project/Program Management experience
