Dynamic Manufacturing is hiring a Manufacturing Production Assistant to join our growing team. This role will report to the Product Line Manager in Allison.

General and Task Management

  • Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times by daily audit
  • Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly through Layered Process Auditing
  • Ensure all records are completed appropriately and stored in a central location
  • Ensure that the escalation procedure for quality concerns is followed
  • Complete Layered Process Audits
  • Prepare schedules for use per the scheduled priority
  • Monitor and report on all safety equipment and tools if they are not operating as designed
  • Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities within the department
  • Support creation of bins/labels for new and current workstations to ensure parts are always labelled.

People Management

  • Responsible for tracking the training of operators for processes within the local team
  • Responsible for daily auditing and Continuous Improvement support for the team to achieve operational success
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
  • Provide documentation expertise within team, and respond to audit queries
  • Work positively with support functions to fully define the processes/procedures/controls relevant to team activities.
  • Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team

Relationship Management

  • Interface with Production Scheduling to execute schedules for weekly production
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments and ensure an effective interface is maintained
  • Feedback to the Management team to share ideas and improve operation
  • Provide technical auditing and expertise to the team

  • Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
