We operate in a fully air-conditioned facility, daytime shifts Monday-Thursday ("4/10" schedule) with overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Specialist I - Production- an entry-level role responsible for performing basic production tasks such as masking, final assembly, box build, hand coating/touch up, and hand potting. This position works under close supervision to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.

Key Metrics and Focus Areas

  • Accuracy and quality of completed production tasks.
  • Compliance with work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Production efficiency and teamwork support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic mechanical or electronic assembly tasks following detailed instructions.
  • Support masking, hand coating, and touch-up activities under supervision.
  • Assist in box build and final assembly operations using standard tools.
  • Prepare materials and work areas to support production flow.
  • Inspect own work for obvious defects and report issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
  • Exposure to electronics assembly processes.

Physical Requirements / Essential Functions

  • Ability to sit, stand, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity to detect defects and read instructions.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Work with small parts, tools, and fixtures under supervision.
