Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Production Test Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining test equipment fully functional and in accordance with internal quality standards. Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth execution of daily production.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting of test equipment's
  • Reporting Downtimes for the different Test Stations.
  • Look after First Pass Yield and continuous improvement activities.
  • Performance of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
  • Monitor and maintain an inventory of test stand equipment.
  • Perform basic electrical wiring tasks for voltages ranging from 120-volts / 24VDC
  • Maintain test schedules as established by management.
  • Operate and observe on-going testing and report daily to corresponding test engineers.
  • Perform basic measurements using scales, calipers, multimeters, thermal probes, etc.
  • Keep test equipment and tools organized and lab cleanliness.
  • Keep records of testing history
  • Share data files with the engineering team.
  • Positive, team player who will pitch in where needed to get the job done.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates degree of 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office
  • Electrical aptitude.
  • Able to read electric schematic diagrams.
  • Basic Hand Tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education
  • Programming skills
  • Knowledge of basic electronic measurement instrumentation.
  • Able to work autonomously with a pronounced sense of own initiative.
