3rd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor Bardstown, KY
We're seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll lead daily production operations, support and develop your team, and help ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Shift Details
3rd Shift: 11:00PM - 7:10AM
Schedule: Five-day workweek, Sunday through Thursday, with additional hours or days based on business and production needs.
What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily production and inventory activities to ensure products are manufactured according to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime and support efficient operations.
  • Inspect equipment, machinery, and work areas to ensure compliance with operational, quality, and safety standards.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop production associates while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Review and approve employee timecards and monitor attendance.
  • Coordinate staffing to ensure appropriate production coverage.
  • Spend time on the production floor supporting operators, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Lead shift start-up meetings and participate in shift handoff communications.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to support production goals.
  • Promote employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing production supervisory experience; automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Industrial Manufacturing, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with 5S, continuous improvement, cost and scrap reduction initiatives, and working knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a goal-driven, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
