What You'll Be Doing:
  • Own and lead the establishment and industrialization of manufacturing processes for Synopsys HAV hardware products, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Act as the technical lead for PCBA and electromechanical assembly, overseeing NPI and sustaining activities including final assembly, test, and pack out.
  • Define, document, and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes, including assembly tools, aids, and standards for complex electronic products.
  • Drive DFx(DFM/DFA/DFT/DFS/DFR) reviews with R&D, test, and quality engineering teams and EMS partners to resolve issues and improve manufacturability.
  • Champion process efficiency improvements, workflow optimization, staffing, training, equipment, and network requirements with EMS partners.
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting of manufacturing defects and reliability concerns ,establishing root causes and corrective actions to ensure robust production.
  • Develop and qualify manufacturing processes for high-complexity PCBA, including SMT/THT, high-layer-count boards, fine-pitch BGAs, and power electronics.
  • Architect and optimize electromechanical final assembly, test, and pack out(FATP) processes for EDA HAV systems, including automation and advanced tooling.
  • Manage supplier and EMS engagement, establish and improve product time standards, driving cost reduction, yield enhancement, and timely project deliverables.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp, identifying risks and leading manufacturing readiness assessments.
  • Mentor and guide manufacturing engineers, influence product and manufacturing strategy, and act as a trusted advisor across teams.

  • Proven track record leading complex NPIs and transitioning products from development to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Strong background in networking hardware, test equipment, or high-reliability electronic systems.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting manufacturing and reliability issues at both PCBA and system levels.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, quality assurance, and cost optimization techniques.
  • Experience working with global EMS and system integration partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to influence across disciplines and leadership levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 35% as needed.
