Job Title: Manufacturing Operator 
Location: Henrico, VA 23231
Compensation: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 1st, 2nd & 3rd – 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts available! 
3:45-pm -2:00am
2:00pm - 10:30pm
5:45pm - 6:00am
5:45am - 4:00pm
 
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for performing various tasks to operate and monitor assigned production equipment following established procedures and guidelines, while adjusting machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. 
 
Essential Duties:
  • Performs necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on assigned equipment. 
  • Operates assigned equipment and monitors equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
  • Communicates with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
  • Completes assigned cleaning and housekeeping tasks as assigned or determined by the cleaning schedule
  • Performs other tasks which may be assigned by Production or Warehouse Management including, but not limited to, damage restack and, or rework, stacking product, picking up down pallets utilizing a pallet jack, as determined
  • All other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs, stand on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb stairs as needed. 
  • Willingness to work weekends, including some holidays as scheduled to support customer demand
  • Completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening
