The Senior Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing operations across machining at the Waukesha site. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production while delivering on operational targets and supporting the ramp-up of Jenbacher operations. 

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role translates strategic objectives into execution, drives performance across multiple areas, and leads a team of supervisors and production employees to meet business and customer commitments. 

What you'll do:

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations across assigned machining areas, ensuring delivery on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets 
  • Translate strategic goals into executable production plans, schedules, and priorities across multiple teams 
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production personnel; build a strong, engaged, and high-performing organization 
  • Drive workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and training to support production ramp and long-term capability needs 
  • Champion a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all EHS, quality, and operational standards 
  • Ensure implementation and sustainment of quality policies, processes, and continuous improvement practices 
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., safety, quality, delivery, cost) and lead problem-solving to address gaps and improve performance 
  • Proactively manage production flow, capacity, materials readiness, and constraints to ensure on-time delivery 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Materials, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure production readiness and operational alignment 
  • Drive manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / MyFactory principles), identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost 
  • Support the ramp-up and stabilization of machining operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and successful transition to steady-state production 

What you'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business 
  • 8-12+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibility 
  • Prior experience leading supervisors or multiple production teams 
  • Strong understanding of machining / manufacturing operations and production systems
