General Summary

A Manufacturing Training Associate will assist in creating training content & assist with the training of manufacturing employees. The role will support the training, tracking of documents, conformance to established policies & procedures, and compliance with manufacturer programs. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule training required by established criteria, such as Onboarding, specifications, or procedure.
  • Conduct weekly unit level onboarding classes with new hires.
  • Using standard work instructions, assist in creating or preparing training content including screen shots and video with the use of Word, PowerPoint, or other programs.
  • Provide customer service to manufacturing staff, answering routine questions, and escalating where appropriate. 
  • Perform data entry and maintenance into the REI learning management system.
  • Maintain cross-training matrix to ensure skills support business continuity

Other Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing needs assessments to identify training gaps.
  • Prepare training material for delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a high school diploma, or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 1 year experience in administrative support, talent management, public speaking, data entry, and/or training and development; or other equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment, especially semiconductor, helpful but not required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve defined goals.
  • Positive attitude with an ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly.
  • Organization and attention to detail is critical.
  • Computer skills required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
