This rapidly growing company seeks enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Manager to work in one of our client's sites. Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Work directly with Operations Manager to oversee a team of cleaners at various onsite client locations.
  • Evaluate, coordinate, and assign cleaning tasks to team members based on need and skill level.
  • Inspect all work performed to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Act as primary onsite point-of-contact for cleaning team for any questions, concerns, or disputes they may have.
  • Promptly respond to any customer inquiries and take action as soon as possible.
  • Ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, and training of new employees.
  • Ensure efficiency of work and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 2-4 years of related experience is required working in a janitorial commercial cleaning services industry,
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience.
  • The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
  • Proven experience supervising departments of 15+ employees.
  • Ability to maintain a budget.
  • Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision-making skills ability.
  • Proven experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, associates, and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization.
  • Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs independently and ability to bend.
  • Extensive standing and walking
