Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Plant Manager to join our manufacturing operations team. Duties

- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste.
- Oversee daily plant operations, including assembly lines, equipment maintenance, and quality control processes.
- Utilize ERP systems such as Oracle and other manufacturing management systems to monitor production data, analyze trends, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain management, quality assurance, and engineering to facilitate seamless operations.
- Lead efforts in process improvement initiatives by analyzing data with tools like Microsoft Excel and supply chain analytics.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in managing inventory levels through effective supply chain management and production scheduling strategies.
- Support the development of staff through team leadership, training programs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with Oracle, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and production management software.
- Strong background in manufacturing management systems, process improvement techniques such as Lean management, and quality control practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel for operational insights and decision-making.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, assembly processes, and plant operations management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills.
- Certifications or training in Six Sigma or lean manufacturing methodologies are highly desirable.
- Prior experience in supply chain analytics, production scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
