Manufacturing Tech- Urethane
Founded in 1963, Townley Engineering amp; Manufacturing is a rapidly growing, American-made solutions expert for wear and abrasion problems found in the mining, dredging, and power industries. Mfg Tech- Plastics are responsible for working in production with consistent speed and accuracy while maintaining production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Pours Urethane into molds and lines different pump parts
  • Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
  • Maintains a clean workstation and production floor.
  • Follows health and safety standard.
  • Follows production guidelines and specifications.
  • Finalizes and packages products for shipment.
  • Monitors the production line and removes faulty products.
  • Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by direct supervisor or higher.
  • Pulls and puts away molds and cores based on manufacturing needs
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment by adhering to company safety and procedure policies

Requirements:
  • Troubleshoot Molding Problems
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Able to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Ability to work as a team as well as being self-directed
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Required Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand,
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
