Manufacturing Manager

Injection Molding | Leadership Development | Path to Plant Manager

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at a growing injection molding facility east of Philadelphia.

This is much more than a traditional production management role. This hire is a succession plan to develop into the Plant Manager role in 4 years. ย The successful candidate will gain exposure to all aspects of running a manufacturing operation while leading daily production.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity objectives.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.

  • Optimize labor utilization, workflow and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Partner with Scheduling, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Customer Service to ensure customer expectations are met.

  • Monitor production metrics including efficiency, scrap, quality and labor performance.
