Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Manager. This is a Full-Time role working onsite Monday-Friday (Daylight hours), based at our manufacturing plant in Cleveland, TN. Relocation benefits are available from within the United States!
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

What you'll do:
Attain plant Quality Goals, maintain and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Deploy the applicable elements and initiatives of EBS tools (EQMS) to accomplish Operational Excellence. Plan, execute and monitor actions to support Quality processes to assure attainment of goals.
Assure customer satisfaction through our Quality System; accountable for quality performance by monitoring Quality related metrics, conducting Quality Assessments. Making improvements in the quality procedures and develop innovations to improve productivity and reduce product costs.
Plan, develop and manage the Operations, Customer to maintain required levels, in process and finished goods.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Direct quality personnel and prioritize quality functions of the plant.
  2. Lead a quality planning activity through the product development / launch cycle.
  3. Establish inspection and testing plans for product development.
  4. Lead internal/external ISO/EQMS audits.
  5. Develop and analyze statistical data and product / process specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability requirements for finished products. Ensures Production Part Approval Processes, First Article inspection and customer specific requirements are performed and/or achieved as required
  6. Perform root cause analysis - support problem solving and continuous improvement efforts by bringing attention to quality problems, participating on improvement teams, and working with front end, design, quality and production personnel to resolve problems.
  7. Develop quality control documentation for production, (Quality Control Plan, Inspection Records, etc.), and ensure the implementation of the quality documents.
  8. Lead the plant in the development of key process Control Plans.
  9. Lead manufacturing by performing Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) in order to identify and eliminate measurement errors and ensure the correct gages are being employed throughout the plant.
  10. Apply appropriate Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) processes and problem-solving tools to drive continuous quality improvement and ensure alignment/compliance with industry standards.
  11. Analyze report with all quality performance indicators:CONC, Warranty charges/PPM, final audits, etc.
  12. Ensure Tailored Development programs are being accomplished by all Quality Personnel, in alignment with EQS / OpA criteria requirement.
  13. For Customer Complaints, is responsible for all containment actions and leading the problem solving CAPA teams for root cause analysis evaluation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions at the manufacturing processes.
  14. When Non-conforming parts are introduced into the assembly processes, is responsible to make sure that the preliminary analysis are properly completed by the Quality Supervisors, the containment of all non-conforming parts in WIP and other locations in the plant is completed, that the initial Non-Conformance reports are communicated to the supplier and that disposition is given based on the impact of the NC to the process &/or product.
  15. Drive continuous improvement through accomplishment of KSO/CI assigned projects.

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ Years of Quality, Engineering, or Operations facing experience
  • 2+ years of direct people leadership experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now and in the future

Preferred:
  • BS Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, Computers, or related field)
  • Six sigma Black-belt
  • Previous Quality / Manufacturing Manager Experience
  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Power BI, Minitab, and data acquisition programs.
  • Self-Motivated individual who is highly organized and capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve assigned projects and tasks
  • Strong understanding of AIAG tools, statistical tools, and analysis
    • Problem Solving, Minitab
    • Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
    • MSA, Process Capability, Control Plans, Gage Plans
    • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
