Job description

SUMMARY:
The primary role of a Manufacturing Operator is to setup/operate/troubleshoot equipment using established processes for the manufacture of medical components. Roles include but are not limited to: Extrusion, Molding, Braiding or Grinding. This person could work with manufacturing personnel, maintenance, quality assurance and technical teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Setup/Operate/Troubleshoot production machinery such as Thermoplastic Extruders and line supporting equipment, Molding Machines, Monofilament Braiders, Centerless Grinders, and RF Tipping platforms
•Documenting activities accurately and completely
•Following sequences of operations in performing techniques such as cutting, bonding, inspection, and packing.
•Working with (and near) inks, isopropyl alcohol, and other manufacturing-related liquids
•Complying with FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), general safety and manufacturing procedures, and company practices and policies
•Ability to read, comprehend and communicate in English
•Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Computer skills required: Inventory Software; Microsoft Office
•Other skills required: Mechanically inclined, detail oriented, basic math skills
