Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
We are looking to add a Supply Chain Finance Analyst to our Bradenton Finance Manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for supporting period close process, financial analysis and reporting of key metrics, and supporting annual financial planning and forecast. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Execute weekly and period end SAP financial close process, review results including analysis and comparisons to prior year, period forecast, and plan; explain variances
  • Prepare journal entries; record period accruals, deferrals, and amortization; ensure adequate supporting documentation
  • Prepare account reconciliations and post close reports
  • Analyze and report key metrics vs. plan, including volume, cost, cost per unit, overtime, material usage, and productivity status
  • Assist in the annual financial plan and period forecast
  • Comply with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements, execute SOX control testing and ensure timely quarterly submissions. Assess and strengthen plant controls; support the location control assessments; ensure deficiencies are remediated. Support required financial (internal or external) audits
  • Lead the required physical inventory counts requiring Finance oversight
  • Support productivity initiatives; quantify cost savings opportunities
  • Ad-hoc reporting and value-added analyses

The Perfect Blend: Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in G/L or cost accounting
  • Some knowledge of process manufacturing processes and procedures a plus
  • Strong computer skills, working knowledge of SAP and Business Objects
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office, including Excel pivot tables
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the big picture without losing sight of the details
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and independently as required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong team player

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting OR 5+ years of plant accounting experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations
  • Minimal travel expected < 5%
