Primary Function:

Under the direction and supervision of the F & I Director, this position is responsible for producing revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance products to customers for pre-owned and new vehicle sales. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in work performed. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all state and federal paperwork in a legal manner to protect the company assets
  • Sells financing opportunities to all customers including; service contracts, appearance protection, GAP insurance, and additional ancillary insurance products.
  • Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with finance sources including manufacturer finance companies.
  • Prepares and submits finance paperwork to obtain approval from the finance sources(s) on all finance deals.
  • Works closely with the sales personnel in scheduling the delivery of customer vehicles.
  • Ensures that all paperwork is complete and ready for processing.
  • Meets monthly department objectives.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and Saturday's.
  • Communicates work accomplishments and activities to supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Attends weekly sales meetings

What we need from you:

  • High School diploma/GED; college degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred
  • Previous F & I dealership experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to communicate with a diverse group of people
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and ability to follow through
  • Must have ability to work well in a team-based environment
