Manufacturing Engineer

Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Working closely with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and procurement teams, you will design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes that improve productivity, reduce waste, and support operational excellence.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys being on the production floor, solving problems, supporting daily manufacturing activities, and helping bring new ideas and products into reality. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support equipment and process development, and help ensure manufacturing operations are positioned for long-term success.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production
  • Partner with production teams to identify process improvements and eliminate operational bottlenecks
  • Develop, specify, deploy, and support manufacturing equipment, machinery, and tooling
  • Monitor manufacturing performance and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, efficiency, and throughput
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to manufacturing issues
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Procurement, and Quality teams to support manufacturing objectives
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities and support the successful launch of new products and production lines
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards
  • Track and report key performance indicators related to productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with capacity planning, process validation, and production readiness activities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field required
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard engineering tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
  • Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements
  • Experience with new product introduction (NPI) or new production line development
  • Knowledge of CAD software and engineering design tools
  • Experience with data analysis, process metrics, and performance reporting
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong desire to work in a hands-on, production-floor-focused engineering role
