Job description

Your Contribution
Our Industrial Engineer's primary focus is optimization of processes that match the tooling, equipment and facility requirements and provide efficient, cost-effective production lines that utilize operators and/or robotics in a mold and assembly operation. They are also responsible for contributing to the successful launch of MAHLE products and development and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects and problem-solving processes. MPS Implementer assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Facilitate training and workshops on operational excellence principles. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a MPS Implementer employs Lean methodologies and tools to accomplish business objectives. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Your Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or similar roles.
  • Experience in plastic molding & assembly preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification preferred.
  • Dynamic communication / inter-personal skills
  • Must have demonstrable technical presentation skill.
  • Superb computer literacy, including MS Office, CAD and SAP.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of ISO14001 and IATF standards, as applicable to the position.
