Our client is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the technical direction of a growing precision manufacturing operation. This individual will oversee engineering, estimating, and quality functions while partnering closely with operations, sales, and executive leadership to improve manufacturing performance, drive operational excellence, and support continued business growth. Client Details Our client is an established precision manufacturing company experiencing significant growth and supplying complex, high-tolerance components to customers within highly regulated industries. They are known for their collaborative culture, investment in advanced manufacturing technologies, and commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and employee development. Description Responsibilities: Lead and develop Engineering, Estimating, and Quality teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership for CNC machining processes, tooling, fixturing, manufacturing optimization, and production support. Oversee the quoting and estimating process, ensuring accurate cost analysis and competitive pricing. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cycle time reduction, and operational efficiency. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Sales to support new business opportunities and manufacturing strategy. Oversee quality management systems, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance. Support new product introductions, manufacturing process development, and customer technical reviews. Monitor key performance indicators, departmental budgets, and resource planning while contributing to long-term business strategy. Profile Ideal Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent manufacturing experience). 7+ years of engineering leadership within CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or a related environment. Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing processes. Experience leading engineering, quality, estimating, or other technical teams. Background in quoting, cost estimating, manufacturing planning, and customer-facing engineering support. Experience within precision manufacturing environments serving regulated industries is highly preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, CAD/CAM software, and ISO quality systems is a plus.
